Information about Me
Robert C. McMaster, CFP
Robert has been working in financial services since the summer of 1999, after graduating from West Chester University with a degree in Business Management. In 2002, Robert transferred his practice to Monastra Financial Group which was an office of MetLife until 2016. The financial professionals at Monastra Financial Group are now associated with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). This has allowed him to consistently serve his clients with the backing of a company with a long history of financial strength, dedication to supporting their Financial Professionals, and an overall philosophy of putting the client first.
As a husband and father of three children, Robert values family at the core of his being. He knows that protecting his family comes first, and this enables him to more personally understand clients who share the same belief. Clients who know it requires forethought and planning to properly prepare for the unexpected so that their families are provided for are who Robert strives to help most.
In January 2011, Robert earned the CFP®. As one of the most challenging, respected designations in the financial industry, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards demands a high degree of education and ethics. The average student must devote over 1000 hours of classroom and study time to complete the requirements. In addition, financial professionals who hold this designation must complete continuing education to stay abreast of changing tax laws and new economic issues.
Robert also works specifically with business owners and high-income individuals who are seeking financial strategies to help reduce taxes. Together they shape plans to help mitigate taxes, enable wealth transfer, and plan for a comfortable retirement with a continuity of lifestyle.
